My first blog

I'm pretty excited to be writing my first ever blog! I have been following the blogs of 3 of my friends, Jamie Huffman-Jen Gardner-Sarah Baker, and have been inspired to start my own blog. I think it is a great way to share pieces of my life with others...I thought I would do my first blog about my family so here goes....

My husband Ben and I have been married for almost 5 years (July 9, 2005). We met and dated in high school but I ended up dumping him at my junior prom! Pretty funny huh!? We ended up hanging out the summer after our freshmen year at college. We then decided to start our relationship that following February. Long distance was hard, but we made it and are living happily ever after thus far!

We had our first baby March 21, 2010! Jace Andru McCarron. He is the light of my life! I love being his mom. I learn something everyday. I'm also challenged by him everyday. He is getting bigger everyday and I'm getting sad to go back to work. I have really enjoyed watching him grow up.
